Who is this guy, and why does he have a website?
Couldn’t you have phrased it little less harshly? Ah, never mind….
Jason Ulloa is a graduate of the University of Southern California, having earned a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Games) and a minor in Game Audio. He hopes to one day land a job at a game studio in the Greater Los Angeles area as a game programmer. Also, sometime in the near future, he hopes to eventually become a developer of games of his own, as well. This website is where he plans to show off his work for any future potential employers, and to make his parents proud(er).
Jason is currently 37 years old, married, and a father of two wonderful, intelligent, and beautiful twin
agents of mass destruction 8 year old girls. He is reluctantly currently living in Los Angeles, though he would love to one day return (even if just to visit) to his hometown of Albuquerque, NM–where the air smells like warm root beer and the towels are oh-so-fluffy, and the home of hot air balloon festivals and that elusive street corner where Bugs Bunny keeps taking his infamous right turn.
So, why is this site called “Efftien Games”?
Since Jason has yet to create a game of his own to publish, he is trying out some possible future game studio names to see which ones he likes. He has until he is ready to publish to decide.
As for the current name, “Efftien” is the name of his primary player character in the online browser game, The Kingdom of Loathing. As for why “Efftien”… well, that’s a bit of an inside joke that he doesn’t feel the need to go into at this point in time.
